Surveillance Photos Released in Investigation into Fatal Stabbing at 6900 Avenue S 

 

Houston police have released surveillance photos of two persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal stabbing of a male found at 6900 Avenue S about 3:20 p.m. on Monday (January 22).

The persons of interest are described only as a Hispanic male and female. Surveillance photos of the two persons of interest as well as previously released photos of a truck are attached to this news release.

The victim is identified as, Paulino Argueta, 51.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Lunceford and D. Davis reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a person lying in the street and found the victim in the roadway, unresponsive, and suffering from a stab wound.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

A preliminary investigation determined a red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck with a black toolbox in the bed was seen leaving the area and is wanted for questioning. Additional investigation identified the two persons of interest.
