1st show to take place on March 10th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City
Atlantic City, New Jersey (January 25, 2018)–Mis Downing promotions is primed for a big year in 2018.
The New Jersey based promotion staged it’s inaugural events in Pennsylvania and New Jersey in 2017, and already has four dates on the schedule for 2018.
The 1st of those events will take place on Saturday night, March 10th at The Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City.
“We are very excited for a great year of boxing,” said Mis Downing. “We have a tremendous event planned for March 10th where I will be co-promoting with Silver Spoon Promotions, and have Chazz Witherspoon in the main event.  We have some of the best fighters in the area that will make up a great undercard.”
The full card and ticket information for the March 10th show will be announced next week.
“We have at least three more dates, and we want to feature great fights while providing the fans with terrific entertainment.  We are also about to announce the signing of some terrific fighters that we plan to build and feature on our events.  We are looking to bring a lot of shows to Atlantic City, and I want to congratulate the new mayor Frank Gilliam on his inauguration.”
“We are also looking forward to working with with Roy Jones, Jr. again.  In 2017,we did a great show co-promoting with him in August, and we already have a commitment to do another show with him in Atlantic City.”

Philadelphia, PA (January 23, 2018)–This Friday night at The SugarHouse Casino, two of the brightest welterweight prospects in Philadelphia’s own own Poindexter “The Savage”  Knight, Jr. & Janelson Bocachica of Detroit will look to thrill the knowledgeable Philadelphia fight crowd  as part of Evander Holyfield’s Real Deal Boxing Showcase Series.


Knight (1-0, 1 KO) the 2-time Philadelphia Golden Gloves champion and 2017 National Golden Gloves champion will be making his hometown debut as he will take on Jordan Morales in a bout scheduled for four-rounds.


The 22 year-old is very enthusiastic to be on display in front of the hometown fans.


“I am very excited to fight in my hometown in front of my family and friends,” said Knight.  Friday Night you are going to see the next great fighter to come out of Philadelphia, PA, Poindexter Knight!”


Bocachica (8-0, 5 KOs) is the 2-time Michigan Golden Gloves champion and a 3-time National champion.


He will face Victor Gaytan.


The 19 year-old turned professional at just 17 years-old and has racked up eight impressive wins.


Being from the boxing rich city of Detroit, Bocachica is also ready to gain some new fans in the City of Brotherly Love.


“I’m super excited to fight in Philadelphia because there are tons of Puerto Ricans there, and I want them to see the next Boricua Boxing Star!” said Bocachica.   “I really pushed my manager and promoter to have me fight on this card so that I can display Puerto Rico’s next Big Thing!”


“With that being said, Puerto Ricans know if it’s Goya it’s got to be good!”


Both fighters are promoted by Evander Holyfield’s Real Deal Boxing and managed by Split-T Management.

Bethlehem, PA (November 17, 2017) – Frank De Alba is ready to close out 2017 with a bang when he takes on Ivan Najera (17-3, 8 KOs) in the ten-round super featherwight bout Tuesday night. November 21st at The Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Bethlehem, PA.

The show is promoted by King’s Promotions.

De Alba of Reading, Pa. has a record of 22-2 with nine knockouts.

The 30 year-old De Alba will be looking for his 6th consecutive victory as he has had a terrific year with wins over German Meraz and Ryan Kielczewski (26-2) in 2017.

“Everything is good. I put in a hard eight-week camp,” Said De Alba.

De Alba and Najera were originally supposed to get together earlier this year, but Najera had to pull out.

“I am excited to be able to finally get in the ring with him. We were supposed to fight in June. He pulled out at the last minute and that made me angry, because I trained hard for a full camp, but now I finally get my opportunity to fight him.”

A win over Najera and a 6th straight win will De Alba should facilitate big opportunities for De Alba in 2018.

“A win over him will have me on top and on my way. It will set me up for a big opportunity in 2018. Hopefully a win will get me a shot at one of those major regional titles and then eventually a world title. I just hope everyone comes out and support this show on Tuesday. Everyone knows when a Puerto Rican fighter and a Mexican fighter get together, the fight usually produces fireworks and Tuesday night should be no different.”

In the eight-round co-feature, undefeated Mykal Fox (14-0, 4 KOs) of Forestville, MD takes on Manuel Reyes (11-3-1, 5 KOs) of Los Angeles in a junior welterweight bout.

Also in an eight-round bout, Victor Vasquez (8-3, 3 KOs) of Yonkers, NY will square off with undefeated Ricardo Garcia (14-0, 9 KO’s) of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in a lightweight fight.

SOY EL MEJOR: Deontay Wilder derrota a Bermane Stiverne

Finalmente llegó la noche tan esperada por los aficionados del boxeo en la cuidad de New York, para ver una cartelera espectacular promovida por Showtime del Heavyweight Championship of the world entre el campeón invicto Deontay Wilder ante su retador número uno Bermane Stiverne , con quien peleo por segunda vez para defender su título mundial de peso completo.


El día Jueves durante la conferencia de presa Stiverne amenazo he insulto al campeón Wilder asegurando que le ganaría en esta ocasión y que estaba mas preparado que nunca ; algo que en el cuadrilátero no sirvió para nada ya que el hasta ahora invicto Wilder con 39 victorias y 38 de ellas por KOs , demostró porqué es el campeón, en esta ocasión la pelea duró solamente un round, tras mandar a la lona en tres ocasiones a su retardo y humillarlo con una paliza que terminó justo antes de terminar el último segundo del primer asalto, dejo un mensaje muy claro el campeón: soy el mejor en mi división y por eso estoy en la cima.

Aunque la pelea principal dura poco tiempo el público se fue satisfecho, ya que los tres minutos que dura un round estuvieron llenos de emoción y explosión por parte de los contendientes en El cuadrilátero, al final el campeón expresó que su éxito se debe a que aunque es pesó completo el se mueve como un boxeador de peso medio y con todo el poder de uno de peso completo.

Después de la pelea en conferencia de Prensa Wilder expresó que solo quiere demostrar que el es el mejor en su división y que está listo para cualquier retador, ya que se siente en lo más pleno de su carrera como boxeador y que este es su momento, cualquiera que quiera su cinturón deberá luchar con el mejor y ese soy yo afirmó el peleador originario de Alabama.


“Deontay Wilder es un excelente luchador con gran poder. Intentamos desarmarlo antes de la pelea quitándole el corazón y la determinación. Pero no puedes restarle nada a su actuación. Le deseo lo mejor. Es fantástico.

“Bermane estaba en forma esta vez. La última vez que se deshidrató. Pero no hay excusas. No se puede quitar nada de Deontay. Stiverne tuvo que abarrotarlo y quedarse debajo de él y no dejarlo usar su rango.

“Dejaremos que Bermane se reconcilie y veremos qué puede hacer a continuación. Tomaremos la decisión correcta para él”.


“Me dio un pequeño problema aquí y allá. Me lastimé la mano izquierda en el sexto asalto, pero seguí usándolo. Tuve que usar mi jab. Me pasó factura y en el décimo asalto no pude tirarlo más.

“La estrategia era seguir trabajando el jab. Sabía que vendría a verme periódicamente. Estaba preparado y cavé profundo para obtener la victoria.

“Descansaremos durante una semana y luego volveremos al trabajo. Queremos a Keith Thurman lo antes posible”.


“Pensé que estaba controlando la pelea y manteniéndome al tanto de él todo el tiempo. Solo estaba tratando de usar sus trucos normales. Lo sacudí varias veces y nunca me tuvo ningún problema.

“Es un bruto. Pensé que el árbitro hizo un buen trabajo al dividir la pelea en los momentos correctos. Fue duro pero definitivamente pensé que me iba mejor de lo que decían los cuadros de mando”.

Nueva York, NY- BereaVision-Este Lunes 30 de Octubre ,se vivió una verdadera batalla en el Estadio del New York Red Bulls, ante el primer encuentro del equipo neoyorquino al recibir a su similar de Toronto FC. en primer partido de ida los Playoff de la MLS, Toronto FC. se ha convertido en la bestia negra de los Red Bulls dejándolos fuera de la competición sin poder aspirar a estar en una final, en los últimos años, de ganar este partido los dirigidos por Jesse Marsch ganarían mucha confianza habiendo disipado los fantasmas del pasado, para poder ir mas confiados en partido de vuelta que sera jugado el proximo domingo 5 de noviembre en la ciudad de Toronto Canada.

Lamentable  para el New York Red Bull se le complicaron las cosas  pues el Toronto lo derroto 2 goles a 1 en este partido de ida el Red Bull jugo bien pero no aprovecho la localiza as u favor pues ahora tendrá que enfrentarse con Toronto en  partido de vuelta que se jugara en Canada  ventaja muy grande para los canadienses pues el partido de ida lo leva con 2 goles a favor, y para que el Red Bull remonte el marcador sera muy difícil ya que el Toronto FC es un equipo que no se deja intimidar fácilmente.

Al  7 minutos del juego los visitantes lograron enmudecer el estadio cuando Josie Altidor gano linea de fondo y colocar un centro muy cerca Robles  el guardameta de los Red Bulls el cual rechazo para el centro de el area y el rebote lo aprovecho Victor Vazquez (7)para poner a Toronto un gol arriba en el marcador.

En los últimos minutos ya para agonizar el primer tiempo , de una manera increíble los Red Bulls lograron la paridad tras una falta cometida a Wright Phillips y cobrado por Daniel Royer al minuto 45 y 3 agregados, en los 45 de la parte complementaria se decidiría lo que podría inclinar la serie para alguno lado.

Pasado los 15 minutos del descanso, los Red Bulls salieron con los ánimos renovados y comenzaron a probar tiros a puerta, dejando al Toronto con muchas falencias en la defensa  los de casa que la victoria es posible. Pero nuevamente Toronto FC. demostró porque termino siendo líder en la conferencia del Este, minuto 72 de juego, el delantero que es temido por la afición de Red Bulls Sebastian Giovinco anota el segundo para Toronto FC. dejando a Red Bulls cuesta arriba en el marcador.

Victory Sports & Entertainment’s Sonny “Pretty Boy” Fredrickson back in action at the WBA Convention’s Night of Boxing

Medellin, Colombia (October 31, 2017)–Victory Sports & Entertainment’s highly touted Junior Welterweight, Sonny “Pretty Boy” Fredrickson (17-0 11 Kos) will return to the ring tomorrow at the WBA Convention’s boxing card taking place in Medellin, Colombia.

The WBA is hosting its 96th Annual Convention in Medellin, Colombia from October 30 through November 2nd. As it does at every convention, the WBA will be helping to stage a boxing card for all of the boxing luminaries in attendance. As the 9th ranked fighter in the WBA’s Junior Welterweight rankings, the WBA chose Sonny for one of the highly coveted slots. “I am very proud to fight at the WBA’s 96th Convention and feel honored that President Gilberto Mendoza personally chose me to fight on this show,” states Fredrickson. “I hope to one day fight for the WBA World Championship and look forward to putting on a good show in front of all the convention attendees,” Fredrickson continued.

Fredrickson will face undefeated Colombian native Placido Ramirez (10-0, 7 KOs). “I know Ramirez is tough and that he will be looking to represent his country at this fight, but I’ve trained hard. I had a great camp and I am ready for a great fight,” says Fredrickson.

“RASP” 9ª Conferencia Anual de la Regional Alliance of Students and Professionals

El pasado 21 y 22 de octubre en vinculación con Latinos in Tech Innovation & Social Media, LATISM; Toyota and The Partnerships Latino Student Fund, LSF; se llevó a cabo en la ciudad de Washington, D.C. la 9ª Conferencia Anual de la Regional Alliance of Students la cual reunió a más de 500 asistentes entre estudiantes, emprendedores, empresarios e invitados especiales.

La misión de RASP es capacitar a estudiantes y profesionales con las estrategias de prestación de servicios sociales de apoyo que fortalezcan las familias marginadas, desfavorecidas y con baja representación, los niños y las personas, mediante el apoyo y el intercambio de información, la promoción de programas y actividades, y compartiendo recursos.

Bajo el Lema: “Liderazgo con Ejemplo” y “Mi Profesión al Servicio de mi Comunidad”

En esta conferencia, la premisa principal versó sobre la importancia de emprender y mirar hacia el futuro prometedor pronosticado “Our Path has only one Direction ONWARD”

Entre las actividades desarrolladas que más impactaron a los asistentes fue la llevada a cabo por Toyota bajo el lema “Juntos Somos Imparables” / “Vayamos Juntos” así como la College Fair de la cual, uno de los resultados obtenidos fue que la Virginia State University otorgó dos becas completas a estudiantes de LSF. La cual fue una sorpresa para la Directora  de RASP Olga Noriega porque venían a dar la feria universitaria lo que incluye es información de cuales son los requisitos de admisión un total de 24 universidades reconocidas que asistieron a esta conferencia.

Esta conferencia fue también el marco para el primer congreso de la Asociación de Profesionistas y Empresarios de Estados Unidos, APEUS; de la cual se logró establecer la mesa directiva e impulsar la creación de dos empresas.

En lo legal el LIC. Joram Nuñez, dío a conocer los requisitos, derechos y precauciones  que tiene el ciudadano común a la hora de abordar un avión, información muy valiosa que recibieron con mucho agrado los presentes a esta conferencia.

Los estados asistentes congregados en Washington Dc. fueron 26, destacando Maine, New Hampshire , Vermont,  Rhode Island, Conneticut, Nueva York, Nueva Jersey,  Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Caroline, South Caroline. entre otros.

MAIN EVENT Cruiser Weight – 12 Rounds

 Newark- NJ-BereaVision -Round 1 – Slow Start, Both fighters simply getting a feel. Light jabs, a lot of movement from W, G taking, control of the round. Overall not much action, not many punches thrown.
Round 2 – Round starts with more energy, both fighters going forward trying combinations. Still W is more on the defense, protecting his head and throwing both combos to the head and body. W keeping his distance, mot letting G land hits. G does not give up, over all fairly active round from both fighters. Both
fighting smart thinking about their blows and saving energy. G landing some brutal shots to the head.
Round 3 – More energy in this round, however G dominates landing several combinations to the head knocking out W! Fight over in round 3. Very quick and easy win for Gassiev.
Winner: By KO Murat Gassiev at 1 minute 57 seconds.
C0-Main Cruiser Weight – 10 Rounds Mateuz Masternak vs. Steve Bujaj.
Round 1 – Off to a slow start, both fighters getting a feel for each other in this round. Landing some combinations, both fighters start off with solid energy and movement. Round 2 – Bujaj aiming mostly toward the body. Maternak going in mainly for the head, dictating the movement of this round, fighting more erect and more confidently than bujaj. Masternak getting the upper hand landing head shots, keeping Bujaj on the defense this round.
Round 3 – With power and accuracy Masternak is dominating the round landing several punishing hit to the body and face. Has Bujaj, blocking, dodging, and on the run. Round 4 – Bujaj begins this round with an explosive comeback of combination pushing Masternak to defend and take the hits. It seems that Bujaj is trying to face up to this monster of a fighter MAsternak. A round that was more evenly matched.
Round 5 – Not much activity in this round. Both fighters keeping their distance, MAsternak landing a majority of the small number of blows landed.
Round 6 – Masternak picks up the pace, both fighters mpre active in this round. Bujaj not letting himself be dominated but taking many brutal hits to the head.
Round 7 – Masternak dominates the ring controlling Bujaj’s movements keeping a constant flow of hits to the head leading in a knock down. Bujaj hits the ground but gets back up for more. Masternak clearly winning this round.
Fight over after Round 7, ref Waves off contest saying Bujaj is unable to continue
Winner: by TKO Mateuz Masternak.
Fight 1 Samuel Amoako vs. Skender halili Super welter weight – 6 rounds
Round 2 underway and it is halili dominating the ring. receiving not much resistance and coming in with great force and agility. Amoako taking a more defensive position.
Round 3 – Amoako Keeping his distance making Halili chase. Halili still dominating. End of third round and Amoako continues to stay defensive. Either having a hard time to land hits or saving his energy. Halili dominates.
Round 4- Halili landing many combinations, chasing and catching up to Amoako not letting him out from under the pressure, again dominating not giving many opportunities for Amoako to attack.
Round 6- Fight stayed the same all the way through. Small spikes of come back Amoako but it was more
a defensive fight for him. Halili gave a constant effort for the win.
Score totals
Winner: All three judges had a score of 60-54. Samuel Halili takes the win by unanimous decision.
Fight 2 Efe Ajagba vs. Luke Lyons Heavy weight – 6 rounds
Round 1 – Efe dominates round one with size, and power, knocking don to one knee opponent Luke Lyons. Efe’s Brutal punishment knocks down Luke Lyons for a second time just moments later winning the fight not even one round.
Winner: At 2 minutes 10 seconds by TKO EFE AJAGBA takes the win.
Fight 3 Super Welter weight – 6 Rounds Money Powell vs. Brandon Adams
Round 1- Money Powell gets knocked to the floor just moments into this explosive battle. Both Going hard at it. Adams and Powell going toe to toe in this first round. Unclear with who has the upper hand.
Round 2 – Powell using reach and accuracy to dominate and land blows to the head. Although Adams is not falling back and making his effort to move in and counter attack, Powell in this round had the upper hand dominating the ring.
Round 3 – Adams taking many hits to the body in his attempts to land on Powell head. Toe to toe round, Adams moving in closer to Powell’s body t land hits, and Powell of course defending landing body and head shots.
Round 4 – Powell Lands a critical blow to Adams face disorienting Adams allowing for Powell to land a multitude of combinations but no knock out moments into the round. Powell landing back to back blows to Adams head receiving little comeback on from Adams. Adams landing very few hits this round.
Round 5 – Adams with a comeback starting off the round with more fire power landing hit to the body and face. A very strategic round on both sides, Adams being more aggressive in this round even dominating but both being very defensive keeping their distance and thinking about when yo blow.
Round 6 – Both fighters staring off this round very explosively, ending it with that same energy in this intense battle.
Winner: 59-55, 59-56, 58-55, By Unanimous Decision and still Undefeated, Money Powell.
Fight 4 Super Welter weight 10 – Rounds Jack Culkay vs. Majiec Sulecki.
Round 1 – Off to a good start from both sides, both with much energy and quick burst of combinations, each land several hits and many good dodges.
Round 2 – The beginning of this round seemed to be dominated by Sulecki, with his longer reach, he landed several combinations to the head most of the. A strong counter string of combo was made by Jack at the end of this round.
Round 3 – Extremely heated round, huge increase in activity from both fighters. Despite Jack’s small height and short reach compared to Sulecki, this fight seems evenly matched so far. Sulecki using his reach to land many blows to the head and Jack using his explosive attacks and strategy to move in close and land many powerful hits.
Round 4 – Intensity and ferocity continues. Culkay bleeding from left eye.
Round 5 – Just eating other’s hits in close toe to toe combat. Nobody seems to be in the lead or dominating.
Round 6 – Majiec Finally gaining the upperhand-Round 7 – Culkay Starts this incredible round with a deadly series of combinations almost knocking down
Sulecki, making him bend over and stumble. After Sulceki regaining his ground Culkay continues to dominate by even putting his arms down to boast and taunt. Dominating this round it ends with fierce blows from Culkay and retaliations from Sulecki that are simply not enough.
Round 8 – Sulecki begins this round looking for revenge taking control of the round early on. Culkay
keeping his distance and his guard attacks with less animosity than the previous round. Both Sulecki and
Culkay going at it hard, giving it there all, tired and wounded both land series of combinations making this round a good, intense, and even round.
Round 9 – Only getting more intense, they keep the combat close and brutal going back in forth in a crazy battle for the knock out. Both suffering much damage.
Round 10 – Spectacular battle of the gloves between Culkay and Sulcki in this intense and explosive round ending the fight with no ounce of energy and drive left out of the ring. In a toe to toe round the fight concludes.
Winner: 98-92, 98-93, 96-94 By Unanimous Decision, Majiec Sulecki.
