Logran reunir a cientos de jóvenes para participar en el Primer Simulador Parlamentario J2019

(CDMX). El Senado de la República fue sede del Primer Simulador Parlamentario Juvenil 2019, organizado por el legislador Israel Zamora del Partido Verde Ecologista en conjunto con la asociación civil Entre Voces y la Red Iberoamericana de Jóvenes por el Desarrollo Sostenible, el cual, logró reunir a más de 160 jóvenes provenientes de varios estados del país.

Con el propósito de generar herramientas de pensamiento crítico, capacidad argumentativa e incluir a los jóvenes en los ámbitos políticos, social y económico, llevaron a cabo la recreación de una sesión ordinaria y juntas de comisiones, para tratar diversos temas de importancia para México.

Durante la inauguración, Zamora Guzmán exhortó a los participantes para no tomar como juego esta actividad, ya que se necesitan políticos que entreguen resultados a la sociedad; asimismo, a seguir sus sueños e interesarse más en temas que le competen a la nación.

“Cualquier acción que pretendemos iniciar o cualquier acción que ya estamos desarrollando, tratamos de encajonarla en un principio que consiste en que cualquier esfuerzo que no se traduzca en la mejora de la calidad de vida de una persona, o en su desarrollo personal o profesional, es en vano”.

“Ustedes tienen algo que para mí es la clave del éxito en todo: la pasión. Que les apasionen los temas, que les apasione estar aquí; que prefieran estar aquí hablando de temas que son de importancia para la nación, en lugar de estar en la playa, hablan de la pasión que tienen. Y eso es otra cosa que yo les quiero reconocer a cada uno de ustedes. Felicidades”, celebró el senador.

Por su parte, los asistentes llevaron a cabo el evento de manera comprometida, uniendo esfuerzos para convertirse en agentes de cambio que trasciendan la calidad de vida de los mexicanos.

El Simulador Parlamentario se llevará a cabo del 15 al 16 de noviembre y se pretende realizar cada año.

15 de diciembre será la consulta a comunidades indígenas por Tren Maya

(CDMX). Anunció el jefe del Ejecutivo que el próximo 15 de diciembre se realizará la respectiva consulta a comunidades indígenas del sureste del país, sobre la construcción del Tren Maya.

“Es una consulta que se va a llevar a cabo a los ciudadanos y de maners especial a comunidades indígenas de toda la región del sureste”, dijo.

En su reunión matutina diaria con medios de comunicación en Palacio Nacional, el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador adelantó que el sondeo a los ciudadanos se llevará a cabo de 8 a 18 horas en los 40 municipios de Chiapas, Campeche, Yucatán, Tabasco y Quintana Roo.

“Incluye Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán, Quintana Roo; todos los municipios por donde va el tren, como está proyectado”.

Asimismo, recalcó que al ser una consulta vinculatoria, se acatará la decisión mayoritaria.

“Si la gente dice sí, vamos. Ya tenemos los estudios técnicos y lanzamos la convocatoria para la construcción; tenemos también los recursos disponibles para el inicio y además previsto en el presupuesto de que no falten los recursos necesarios. Si la gente dice no, hasta ahí quedó, hasta ahí llegamos, el pueblo manda” señaló el mandatario.

Senadores aprueban creación del INSABI

(CDMX). El pasado 14 de noviembre, los senadores de la República votaron a favor de la creación del Instituto de Salud para el Bienestar.

En lo general con 67 votos a favor, 22 en contra y 14 abstenciones se aprobaron los artículos no reservados del dictamen que reforma la Ley General de Salud y la Ley de los Institutos Nacionales de Salud, los cuales entraran en vigor a partir del 1 de enero.

Con esta reforma deja de existir el Seguro Popular que llevaba 16 años operando y contaba con 51 millones 629 mil afiliados, principalmente de los sectores más vulnerables del país.

Por su parte, senadores de Morena aseguraron que con la creación del INSABI se atenderá a los más de 69 millones de mexicanos sin seguro social, considerando la salud como un derecho humano.

Match officials for the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™ appointed

The FIFA Referees Committee has announced the match officials who will be in charge at the forthcoming FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019™.

Five refereeing trios and one support referee will officiate the matches. FIFA has also selected six more match officials to operate as video assistant referees (VARs) during the tournament.

LAS VEGAS – UFC FIGHT PASS®, the world’s leading digital subscription service for combat sports, and Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) today announced a multi-year streaming agreement in which UFC FIGHT PASS will serve as the exclusive global streaming provider for LFA events. The inaugural event under this deal, LFA 78, will take place on Friday, November 15, live from the Bell County Expo Center in Belton, Texas, at 9 p.m. ET / 6 p.m. PT.

Under the terms of the new agreement, UFC FIGHT PASS will live stream two remaining events in 2019, 20 events in 2020, and 24 events in 2021. In addition to live LFA events, subscribers of UFC FIGHT PASS will also have access to the entire LFA event library starting in 2020.

Suspect Arrested, Charged in Shooting at 14623 Buffalo Speedway
A suspect has been arrested and charged in the shooting of a man at 14623 Buffalo Speedway about 9:45 p.m. on September 26.

The suspect, Terry L. Turner (b/m, 56), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 262nd State District Court for his role in the shooting of Anthony Alexis, 44, who was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  A booking photo of Turner is attached to this news release.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Graf and R. Naughton reported:

Mr. Alexis was at a convenience store at the above address where he saw a male suspect, known to him as “T-Boy” or “G-Boy.”  The suspect retrieved a pistol from a white Dodge Ram pickup truck.  The suspect, possibly a second male, and Alexis began exchanging gunfire, striking Alexis in the right eye.  The suspect then fled the scene.

Further investigation led to Turner as the identity of the suspect in this case.  He was subsequently charged on October 6 and taken into custody on October 9.
