Suspect Arrested, Charged in 2016 Fatal Shooting at 1312 Robin
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of three men and the wounding of two other persons at 1312 Robin about 10:35 p.m. on July 4, 2016.

The suspect, Jerome Moore (b/m, 20), is charged with capital murder (multiple murder) in the 179th State District Court.  A photo of Moore is attached to this news release.

Three victims, Daquarius Tucker, 19, Charles Jackson, 29, and Jamal Dixon-Lackey, 26, were pronounced dead at the scene.  A fourth male, 37, and a juvenile male, 10, were transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening wounds.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants J. Brooks and C. Cegielski reported:

Residents were having a neighborhood fireworks display at the above address.  During the gathering, Mr. Tucker was targeted by a rival gang and shots were fired.  Tucker was killed, as were two other bystanders (Jackson and Dixon-Lackey) who were in close proximity to him.  Two additional victims were wounded.

Further information led to the development of Moore as the suspected shooter in this case and, on April 3, 2019, he was arrested without incident and subsequently charged.
