Suspects Charged, Wanted in Stabbing at 10910 Gulf Freeway
Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the stabbing of a man at 10910 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 3:35 a.m. on Dec. 22, 2022.

The suspects, Jack Dean Hairston, 37, and Justin Edmond Salton, 36, are charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 208th State District Court. A 2021 booking photo of Hairston and a photo of a Salton are attached to this news release.

The victim, 40, was transported to a local hospital in critical but stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives C. Brown and J. Windham reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing call at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital.

Officers also found a woman, 37, suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.  She was transported to an area hospital to be treated.

Further investigation identified Hairston and Salton as suspects in this case and both were subsequently charged for their involvement in this incident.
