To mark the one year anniversary of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2019 this week, FIFA will host a special webinar with some of the world’s top international coaches and experts to discuss the evolution and development of women’s football, as well as the key findings from the recently published Physical Analysis Report from the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™.
According to the report, France 2019 was a landmark tournament for the technical, tactical and physical development aspect of women’s football with more distance covered at a higher intensity by more players compared to previous editions of the tournament.
As part of the webinar, leading coaches and experts will join the authors of the report to discuss what the tournament meant for the evolution of football and what it means for the future tactical and technical development of the women’s game.
