Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a woman found at 4500 Idaho Street about 8:55 a.m. on October 28.

The suspect, Felisha Washington (b/f, 26), is charged with murder in the 230th State District Court.  She is accused in the death of Ramona Jones, 51, who died at the scene.

A booking photo of Washington is attached to this news release.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeants M. Brady and M. Casso reported:

Ms. Jones was found by a witness lying in a drainage ditch at the above address.  It was determined she had suffered multiple stab wounds.

Further investigation determined Washington and Jones were next door neighbors.  The two had a long-running dispute, which ended with Washington stabbing Jones.  Washington was taken into custody on Wednesday (December 16) without incident.
