 Three Suspects Arrested, Charged in May Fatal Shooting at 5901 Selinsky Road 

 

Three suspects charged in the fatal shooting of a man at 5901 Selinsky Road about 4:25 a.m. on May 18 are now in custody.One suspect, Mariah Corinthian Green, 20, was arrested on Monday (July 10).  A second suspect, Quitiana Rene Taylor, 21, was arrested on July 3.  The other suspect, Jarrell Tavon Wheeler, 21, was taken into custody on June 29.  All three are charged with capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 228th State District Court. A fourth suspect, Jamal Ray Brown, 21, wanted and charged in the shooting, was fatally shot by Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies serving a warrant for Brown’s arrest at 706 North Ella Creek Drive on Wednesday (July 12).

The suspects are accused for their roles in the killing of Otis Parker Jr., 35.HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. They found Mr. Parker unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, which appeared to have been involved in a crash.  An uninjured female passenger was also in the vehicle.  Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced Parker deceased at the scene.  He had suffered at least one gunshot wound.Further investigation identified all four suspects in this case.  They were charged on June 27 and warrants were issued for their arrests.
