Two Suspects Charged, Wanted in August Shooting at 9600 Aguila Street

 

 

Charges have been filed against two suspects wanted in the shooting of a woman at 9600 Aguila Street about 8:55 p.m. on August 10.

One suspect, Angel Flores, 20, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated assault of a family member in the 208th State District Court.  A March 2023 booking photo of Flores is attached to this news release.

The other male suspect, 15, is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and will be referred to Harris County Juvenile Probation authorities once he is in custody.  Identities and booking photos of juveniles are not releasable.

The suspects are wanted in the shooting of a female, 18.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives V. Habukiha and T. Forsythe reported:

Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and learned that one adult female victim, one adult male and one juvenile male had been shot and transported to area hospitals.  During the incident, several residences and parked vehicles along the street were damaged by gunfire.

The woman sustained gunshot wounds to a leg and an arm, and underwent surgery.  The wounded males (Flores and the  juvenile) were treated and released from the hospital during the initial, ongoing investigation.

During the follow-up investigation, detectives determined Flores and the juvenile male wounded in the shooting were the suspects who fired weapons.  Both were subsequently charged for their roles.
