Claressa «GWOAT» Shields confirmed for 8th annual Box Fan Expo

LAS VEGAS (September 5, 2025) — Two-time Olympic Champion, four-time undisputed, and seventeen-time world boxing champion Claressa Shields has confirmed her appearance at the Eighth Annual Box Fan Expo on Saturday, September 13, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The fan-focused event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., coinciding with Mexican Independence Day weekend and the highly anticipated Canelo Álvarez vs. Terence Crawford fight later that evening at Allegiant Stadium.

This marks Shields’s third appearance at the Expo, where she will host an exclusive meet-and-greet for fans. Attendees can have gloves, photos, and memorabilia signed and shop limited-edition merchandise available only at her booth. Shields, widely known as “The GWOAT,” remains one of boxing’s most iconic stars.

About Claressa Shields

Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, from Flint, Michigan, is one of the most accomplished athletes in combat sports. Undefeated at 17–0 (3 KOs), she is the only fighter—male or female—to hold all four major world titles (WBA, WBC, IBF, WBO) in three separate divisions.

A two-time Olympic gold medalist (London 2012, Rio 2016), Shields made history in February 2025 by becoming the first undisputed female heavyweight champion, defeating Danielle Perkins in her hometown of Flint. She successfully defended her titles in July 2025 with a dominant victory over New Zealand’s Lani Daniels.

Known as the “GWOAT” (Greatest Woman of All Time), Shields has captured world titles across five divisions faster than any fighter in history. She is currently ranked the #1 pound-for-pound female boxer in the world by The Ring and ESPN.

Outside the ring, Shields competed in MMA with the Professional Fighters League (PFL), earning two wins before retiring from the sport in 2025 to focus on her boxing legacy. Her life and career were recently profiled in the 2024 biographical film The Fire Inside. She is also a 2023 ESPY Award winner for Best Boxer and the first woman boxer to be nominated for Sportswoman of the Year at the BET Awards.
