Houston police have released surveillance video of two wanted suspects in the fatal shooting of a male that occurred at 4603 Sherwood Lane about 10:50 p.m. on July 5.
Video of the suspects, described as two Hispanic males, one wearing a gray t-shirt and glasses and the second wearing a Barcelona t-shirt.
The victim is identified as Angel Chavira, 35.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective R. Lujan reported:
HPD officers responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found the victim had been transported to the hospital via a private vehicle. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
Further investigation revealed the male was sitting outside his apartment with friends when he was approached by two Hispanic male suspects. One of the suspects shot the victim multiple times and both suspects then fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The video shows the two suspects approaching Mr. Chavira’s apartment before the shooting.
