It’s officially Rodeo Season, Harris County! As Harris County’s largest event, the rodeo is such a celebrated part of our community. In past years, the rodeo has brought $225 million in economic impact and created more than 3,700 jobs in Harris County. We’re proud to welcome HLS&R back to NRG for another great year!
The Rodeo wouldn’t look the same if not for the historical contributions of Black cowboys over the years, and the Black Heritage Committee works hard to make sure their stories are told. Judge Hidalgo was proud to speak at the annual Black Heritage Committee Western Gala to celebrate all the work they do on behalf of the rodeo and Harris County.
