 San Diego FC Plays to 3-3 Draw Against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium
SDFC’s Onni Valakari recorded a brace and Marcus Ingvartsen scored the third as the Club remains unbeaten in MLS play
Frisco, TX (Saturday, March 14, 2026) – San Diego FC (SDFC) remained unbeaten in the 2026 MLS Regular Season after a 3-3 draw against FC Dallas at Toyota Stadium. Onni Valakari had a brace and Marcus Ingvartsen also scored for SDFC to help the Club extend its MLS Regular Season unbeaten road streak to 12 matches. Petar Musa recorded a hat trick to help FC Dallas come from behind and equalize the match with a stoppage-time goal.
Valakari scored his first goal of the night after converting a penalty kick in the 21st minute. Shaq Moore was whistled for a penalty kick when an Alex Mighten cross struck his right arm in the penalty area. SDFC scored again on a penalty kick 10 minutes later when Ingvartsen converted from the spot. David Vazquez was taken down from behind by FC Dallas defender Herman Johansson as he chased a rolling pass in the penalty area, prompting the penalty kick whistle.
Musa scored his first goal of the night in the 41st minute. SDFC responded with Valakari’s second goal of the night in the 51st minute, but FC Dallas got one back three minutes later to cut the lead to 3-2. Musa got his second goal of the match via a penalty kick in the 54th minute. Musa completed his hat trick with a goal in stoppage time.
Next, SDFC will return to Concacaf Champions Cup play as the Club travels to Mexico to face Deportivo Toluca F.C. in Leg Two of the Round of 16 on Wednesday, March 18 at 8 p.m. PT at Estadio Nemesio Díez. SDFC will then return home for MLS Regular Season play to host Real Salt Lake on Sunday, March 22 at 4:00 p.m. PT at Snapdragon Stadium.

SD – 0-1 – Onni Valakari (Penalty Kick), 21st minute: Valakari converted a penalty kick with a left-footed shot to the lower-left corner of the net to beat FC Dallas goalkeeper Michael Collodi.
 
SD – 0-2 – Marcus Ingvartsen (Penalty Kick), 31st minute: Ingvartsen converted a penalty kick, slotting a left-footed shot to the right of Collodi to extend the SDFC lead.
DAL – 1-2 – Petar Musa (Kaick Ferreira), 41st Minute: Musa sent in a right-footed shot from near the goal line after SDFC goalkeeper Pablo Sisniega blocked a close-range shot from Musa following a pass by Kaick Ferreira.
SD – 1-3 – Onni Valakari (Alex Mighten), 51st Minute: A charging Valakari sent in a right-footed volley off a cross from Mighten into the middle of the 18-yard box. Valakari was unmarked as he ran toward the six-yard box for his second goal of the night.
DAL –2-3 – Petar Musa (Penalty Kick), 54th minute: Musa converted a penalty kick with a powerful shot to the right of goalkeeper Pablo Sisniega to cut the SDFC lead.
DAL –3-3 – Petar Musa (Bernard Kamungo), 90+5: Musa completed his hat trick with a left-footed shot from the six-yard box off a pass by Kamungo, who split a pair of defenders before setting up the assist.
