SAN DIEGO (Monday, March 16, 2026) – San Diego FC (SDFC) travels to face Deportivo Toluca F.C. in the Leg 2 of the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 on Wednesday, March 18 at Estadio Nemesio Díez. Kickoff is set for 8:00 p.m. PT with live coverage on Concacaf GO, One Soccer (ENG), FS2 (ENG), and TUDN (SPA).
SDFC defeated Toluca 3-2 in Leg 1 on March 11 at Snapdragon Stadium and enters Wednesday’s match after a 3-3 draw against FC Dallas on Saturday, March 14 at Toyota Stadium. Wednesday’s Concacaf Champions Cup match will mark the Club’s eighth match of the year and its seventh matchup against a Liga MX opponent.
Toluca enters Wednesday’s match coming off a 3-1 win against FC Juárez on Sunday night in Liga MX play at Estadio Nemesio Díez and secured its place in the Round of 16 as the top seed in the Concacaf rankings following an impressive 2025 campaign that included back-to-back Liga MX titles.
Following Wednesday’s match, SDFC will return to MLS action as they host Real Salt Lake on Sunday, March 22 for SDFC’s Kids Night, presented by the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, as the Club celebrates the next generation of fans where kids run the show at Snapdragon Stadium. The first 10,000 kids (14 and under) will receive a free SDFC-branded lunchbox.
