| Charges have been filed against a suspect charged in the fatal shooting of one man and the wounding of another at 305 Hadley Street about 1:05 a.m. on February 16.
The suspect, Tristin Terrel Williams, 38, is charged with murder in th 174th Criminal District Court. A booking of Williams is attached to this news release.
The deceased male is identified as Julian Comeaux, 21.
The second victim, 24, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook reported:
The victims were out with friends when they were told an unknown suspect was breaking into the vehicle of one of the members of the group. When the victims and their friends confronted the suspect, the suspect shot two of them and then fled the scene.
Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced one man, later identified as Mr. Comeaux, deceased at the scene.
Further investigation and assistance from the Houston Forensic Science Center and the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified Williams as the suspect in this case. He was subsequently arrested and charged.
