JANUARY 12, 2022, LOS ANGELES, CA – EstrellaTV kicks off its Friday fight nights with the premiere of Naciones MMA, a mixed martial arts fight series, on Friday, January 21 at 9 p.m./8 p.m. CT from the Auditorio Municipal in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The Main Event showcases a catchweight fight at 130 lbs. between Mexicali’s Edgar «Pitbull» Chairez (7‑3‑0) and Guadalajara’s Jaime «El Kraken» Londono (5-1-0). The co-main event is a lightweight (155 lbs.) matchup between Ensenada’s Edgar Escarrega (8-3-30) and Veracruz’s Marco Dominguez (4-1-0).
Naciones MMA can be seen on the EstrellaTV network and on the EstrellaTV app on Roku, iOS, and Android devices.
The weigh-in for all fighters will take place on Thursday, January 20, at 9 a.m. ET at the Grand Hotel Tijuana. Results will be released to the media that afternoon.
Naciones MMA is a monthly mixed martial arts fight series on U.S. broadcast and multiplatform network, EstrellaTV. Featuring the best Latino fighters in each event, Naciones MMA airs on the third Friday night of every month through the end of 2022. It can be viewed on the EstrellaTV network, carried by most cable and satellite providers and digital streaming platforms, and streamed everywhere on the EstrellaTV app for iOS and Android and on Roku.

The series was created by Vargas, a former Combate Americas Senior Executive/Talent Scout, and MMA creative executive Hector Molin. The series is produced by Stan Jakubowicz. Series analysts are respected combat sports journalist Rodrigo Del Campo, Bellator MMA fighter Alejandra «Azul» Lara, and current Bellator MMA fighter and former UFC fighter Erick «Goyito» Perez. The fights will be held in both Tijuana, Baja California, and Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, on an alternating basis on the third Friday of every month in 2022.
