The Houston Public Library, invites media to Tuxs and Chuxs, a red carpet fundraising gala honoring music, creativity, and the cultural impact of public libraries. Held in celebration of Make Music Day, this evening will feature a special photographic exhibition by acclaimed photographer Bennie The Shooter, along with historic photos from the rom the HPL Archives available for purchase. Guests will enjoy a curated cocktail reception with complimentary appetizers and beverages.
The evening will also include the presentation of the 2025 Honoree Awards, recognizing outstanding contributions to arts and culture:
