On January 18, 2023, Governor-elect Wes Moore and Aruna Miller made history as the State of Maryland’s first Black Governor and first Lieutenant Governor woman of color in which they later celebrated with their constituents, community members and Marylanders at the People’s Ball in Downtown Baltimore.
