OSCAR DE LA HOYA FOUNDATION DONATES THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF ESSENTIAL BOXING EQUIPMENT TO THE OSCAR DE LA HOYA ÁNIMO CHARTER HIGH SCHOOL

CRUCIAL EQUIPMENT WILL HELP KICK START BOXING AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM

LOS ANGELES (Dec. 7, 2024) – The Oscar De La Hoya Foundation donated thousands of dollars worth of crucial boxing equipment to the Oscar De La Hoya Ánimo Charter High School’s new after school boxing program. NABF Welterweight Titleholder Raul “El Cugar” Curiel (15-0, 13 KOs) and super flyweight fighter John “Scrappy” Ramirez (13-1, 9 KOs) were on hand to distribute the new Everlast equipment to participants of the youth program. Both fighters have upcoming fights on Saturday, Dec. 14, live from Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif. and broadcast around the world on DAZN. Doors to the venue open at 1:00 p.m. PT, the Golden Boy Fight Night: Rocha vs. Curiel Prelims livestream will begin at 1:10 p.m. PT, and the DAZN Broadcast will kickstart at 5:00 p.m. PT.
