| Houston police have released photo of a person of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man and wounding of a woman at 11107 South Post Oak Road about 4:45 a.m. on November 28, 2025.
The person of interest is identified as Arentheis Winn, 20. A photo of Winn is attached to this news release.
The deceased victim is identified as Markquez Mack, 29.
The female victim, 30, is expected to recover from her injuries.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Cass and Detective J. Brown reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in a parking lot at the above address and learned a man and woman had suffered gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victims to an area hospital where doctors pronounced the male deceased.
Investigators learned Mr. Mack and the woman were leaving an establishment when at least two unknown black males in dark clothing approached them. There was a short verbal altercation and Mack was shot. Both suspects continued to shoot as they fled, striking the woman.
Detectives later released video of indiviuals believed to be suspects in this incident. That video is also attached to this news release.
