Persons of Interest Sought in Fatal Shooting at 10055 Belknap Road

 

Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating two persons of interest in the fatal shooting of a man at 10055 Belknap Road that occurred about 1 p.m. on June 6.

The persons of interest are identified as Iddris Umaru, 23, and Axzey Mojica, 22. Photos of both Umaru and Mojica, who are not currently charged in this incident, are attached to this news release.

Also attached is a surveillance photo of two individuals, believed to be the two persons of interest, fleeing the scene.

The victim is identified as Sean Bree, 39.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Smith and D. Toledo reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call in the parking lot of a strip center at the above address and located a male with a gunshot wound. The victim was later pronounced deceased at an area hospital.

Further investigation identified Umaru and Mojica as persons of interest in this case.
