| Charges have been filed against a second suspect arrested in the fatal shooting a man at 6633 West Airport Boulevard at 12:30 a.m. on January 29, 2019.
The suspect, Andre Lamont Lewis Jr., 33, is charged with capital murder in the 337th Criminal District Court.
Another suspect, Trevon Demitri Lewis, 29, is also charged with capital murder in the 337th Criminal District Court. Booking photos of both suspects are attached to this news release.
The victim is identified as Terry Clark, 44.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detectives T. Tyler, S. Spivey and R. Pemberton reported:
Mr. Clark was found deceased inside his apartment at the above address. Witnesses reported hearing gunshots at about 12:30 a.m. and then saw two black males run from the victim’s apartment. They fled in a white SUV.
Further investigation identified Trevon Demitri Lewis as a suspect in this case. He was charged last in September 2025, and arrested by members of HPD’s South Gessner Patrol Division’s Crime Suppression Team and U.S. Marshals Service. He was then booked into the Harris County jail.
On September 3, 2026, a Harris County grand jury issued a capital murder indictment for Andre Lamont Lewis Jr. He was arrested on September 9 by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Violent Offenders Task Force and booked into the Harris County Jail.
