Houston police have released surveillance video of three male suspects wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 2800 Post Oak Boulevard about 4 p.m. on May 13, 2020.
The suspects are described only as two black males and a Hispanic male. All three are believed to have been involved in the physical altercation with the victim and his subsequent shooting. Surveillance video of the suspects can be viewed on the HPD YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/GYs3mqMzkbE.
Previously released surveillance photos of the wanted suspects are also attached to this news release.
The victim, Aquante Braswell, 30, was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives A. Henderson and E. Rossow reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting outside a business (mall) at the above address and found evidence a shooting had occurred, but no victim at the scene. Officers were later informed the victim was located at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he had been pronounced deceased. According to witnesses, three male suspects fled the scene on foot westbound on West Alabama Street.
It is believed a physical altercation occurred between the victim and suspects inside the mall prior to the shooting.
