| Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 240 El Dorado Boulevard about 1:50 p.m. on Tuesday (July 21).
The suspect, Noah Dodson, 17, is charged with murder in the 495th Criminal District Court. Dodson’s booking photo is attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim, 59, is pending notification to family members by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Cook, J. Meister and A. Garcia reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at an apartment complex at the above address and found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. She was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Further investigation identified Dodson as the suspect. He was later located, arrested and charged for his role in the shooting.
