Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Shooting at 4600 Main Street
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 4600 Main Street about 2 a.m. on May 25.

The suspect, Christian Tyler Allen (b/m, 23), is charged with murder in the 339th State District Court.  A booking photo of Allen is attached to this news release.

The victim, Janadrick Drones, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives D. Higgs, K. Fregia, T. Andrade and P. Escobar reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address.  Upon arrival, they found the victim, Mr. Drones, inside a vehicle suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Further investigation led to the identity of Allen as a suspect in this case and, on Thursday (June 17), he was arrested and charged for his role in Drones’ death.
