| Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of a man at 9851 Meadowglen Lane that occurred about 3:45 p.m. on June 13.
The suspect, Aereah Thomas (b/m, 19), is charged with murder and aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon in the 338th State District Court. She is accused in the death of Dale Hayden, 37.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives E. Martinez and C. Lamont reported:
Houston Fire Department paramedics requested HPD patrol officers meet them at an apartment complex parking lot at the above address. Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Hayden deceased inside a vehicle. He had been fatally shot while in the driver’s seat of his vehicle.
Further investigation identified Thomas as the suspect in this case and she was arrested on Tuesday (December 14). Investigators believe Thomas may also be responsible for other violent crimes in the Houston area.
