Suspect Arrested, Charged in Fatal Stabbing at 2000 Crawford Street
Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a male found at 2000 Crawford Street about 3:30 p.m. on May 17.

The suspect, Damen Jerome Lee, 46, is charged with murder in the 185th Criminal District Court. A booking photo of Lee is attached to this news release.

He’s accused in the death of his brother, Henry Lee, 53.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives R. Bounds and C. Davidson reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious vehicle inside a parking garage at the above address. Officers opened the vehicle and discovered a male in the backseat who appeared to have suffered a stab wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Further investigation identified the unknown male as a person of interest. A photo of that male was released to the public on May 19. Officers later located the male and detained him. He was later interviewed by detectives. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was consulted and Damen Jerome Lee was charged and arrested for the murder of his brother.
