Suspect Charged, Wanted in Fatal Shooting at 11230 Southwest Freeway
Charges have been filed against a suspect wanted in the fatal shooting of a man at 11230 Southwest Freeway (South U.S. Highway 59) service road that occurred about 2:10 a.m. on September 26.

Charles White-Green (b/m, 23) is charged with murder in the 232nd State District Court.  A previous photo of White-Green and his vehicle are attached to this news release.

The victim, Adrian Journet, 31, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

HPD Homicide Division Detectives C. Bowling and A. Hernandez reported:

Officers responded to a shooting call to a hotel at the above address and located Mr. Journet inside a room.  He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.  The unknown suspect, described only as a black male with short hair, fled the scene before officers arrived.  Paramedics were called and pronounced Journet deceased.

Further investigation identified White-Green as a suspect in this case and he was subsequently charged for his role in the shooting.
