| Houston police have learned the identity of a victim in the fatal shooting at 2824 Hillcroft Avenue about 10:20 a.m. on January 2 and are asking for information.
The victim is identified as Jadarius Roberts also known as Jade, 25. Pictures of the victim are attached to this news release.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Caten and K. Stringer reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a person down call at the above address and located a person with a gunshot wound inside the building. Responding Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the individual deceased at the scene.
At this time, there is no known suspect or motive. The investigation is ongoing.
