WHAT: Houstonians are encouraged to strap on their helmets, lace up their shoes and pedal to work on Friday. The City of Houston is celebrating Bike Month in May by hosting the annual Bike To Work Day downtown ride on Friday, May 19. During National Bike Month, Houston joins cities across the nation by recognizing bicycles as a viable, safe, sustainable and healthy, transportation option and form of recreation.
