Leesburg AirshowLeesburg, VA (September 9, 2022) – The Leesburg Executive Airport (1001 Sycolin Road SE) will host the annual Leesburg Airshow on Saturday, September 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Beginning at 1 p.m., the skies above Leesburg will come alive with daring aerobatic performances. We are excited to welcome back the Commemorative Air Force and the Flying Circus. The event will also feature exciting aerobatics from David Windmiller, Mark Meredith, RJ Gritter, Jerry Wells, Chef Pitts, Chris Thomas, and Bob Schmidle.

The airshow’s static display area, located on the airport’s tarmac, always features a variety of modern and antique aircraft. This year, you can step on board a C-47B Skytrain that flew over the skies of France during WWII. Other tarmac attractions include aviation-related displays, educational activities and exhibits, an inflatable obstacle course and giant slide for the kids, and a variety of food and beverage vendors. Craft beer will be available for purchase.

Gates for the airshow will open at 11 a.m. Admission is free. The Town will utilize its new text alert system during the event. The public is invited to text “PLANE” to 888777 to receive real-time updates regarding event activities, weather updates, and more.
