Mayor Turner Invites the Public to the Extreme Weather Ready Expo
HOUSTON –  As Hurricane Season begins, the City of Houston Office of Emergency Management will join other regional community organizations for the annual Extreme Weather Ready Expo.

The drive-thru event will take place from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 in Lot C of Minute Maid Park.

This free event is designed to prepare residents for extreme weather situations. There will be a drive-thru giveaway event for preparedness information, water, MREs, flashlights, and other items while supplies last. The first 2,000 vehicles will receive a Papa John’s Pizza.
