Mainstreet LogoLeesburg, VA (February 16, 2022) – The Leesburg Department of Economic Development will host two virtual meetings regarding the Virginia Main Street Program on Monday, February 28 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 1 from 8:30 to 10 a.m.

The purpose of these meetings is to provide information regarding the Main Street Program and how programs, such as this, can be utilized to assist local communities.

The program is a preservation-based economic and community development program that provides a range of services and assistance to communities interested in preserving/revitalizing their historic commercial districts. Local business owners, commercial property owners, residents and anyone else interested in learning more about this initiative are encouraged to attend.

Kyle Meyer, Community Revitalization Specialist with the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development, will be onboard to discuss the program and to answer any questions from attendees. Those who would like to participate can register online.
